My lab chewed the head off in five minutes. Chewed right though the rope.

Just do not let your dog chew it, it will not last. Great dummy to simulate real birds, comes with a great throw rope and knob!! You need a couple different sizes to add to your training!

These look like someone saw a Dokken etc dummy and without knowing what they were really for, decided to make some to sell. They are pretty light and you can't throw them very far , would be fine for tossing around the house . They seem to be made of foam so not sure how these will hold up to a Puppies razor teeth . I just took one out to try with my little female swamp collie and they do work after you fix them. She loves to fetch so will get anything I throw , from what I saw she carried it mostly towards the tail not mid body, it doesn't have the weight to make her hold it towards the middle. You don't want all that play in the rope, it could tangle and hurt a pup, I moved the knot right behind the head and tied one close up to the tail to keep the body in place and keep the rope from sawing the body apart.Like I mentioned not sure how long these will last but they can be used if you modify them to make them safer and more durable. There are better dummies of this design out there ! I have a couple of smaller ones from another maker for ol razor tooth in the photos and they have held up well so far , these well that remains to be seen.. I wont be buying these again for a few extra bucks there are better products out there ...

My dog loves these but he loses them in the woods frequently. So, having a backup is great.

I bought these to train my lab puppies on retrieving, it works great for the price. They are accurate on dove size but the pups will rip them apart if left unattended. Perfect for older pups brushing up on training

This has been a great toy to have to help teach my dog the basic hunting skills. She also likes to keep it close by her when she sleeps. They are a great size and the colors help stand out in the weeds.
