This safe has been good for storing items I need out of site but quick access to. I don't use this for firearms though, but it seems like it would work just fine for that purpose. Putting the batteries in is kind of a pain, but that's about my only complaint here.It does a good job for what it is, and the quality is decent. This safe isn't trying to be something that it's not which is good. It has decent weight to it, and the security features work as intended. Just don't lock the keys in there and you'll always be able to gain access.Instructions were easy to understand and I had the code setup and working within a few minutes, very easy use and setup.I don't know if I'd store high value items in here, but things/documents of personal value or importance that require regular access is something this is great for.A worthwhile product to have.

Strong case but could be thicker and heavier. I guess attaching it to a wall or floor would provide more security. It is easy enough to access with the key or with the keypad. I don't love that it requires batteries, because those die and need to be replaced forever. I'll try rechargeable batteries before wasting dozens of alkaline batteries. The felt lining is thin. the shelf is fine but but I probably wouldn't use the safe for serious valuables or a lot of cash. I guess it's a good gun safe and a good place to store passports and other documents for easy access. However, it is not fireproof and waterproof so be careful what documents you store in it.

I like the size and weight of this safe. It's not too incredibly heavy, but someone would have a difficult time snatching it and running down the road. Also, it can be bolted down, so that's a plus in my book. I appreciate that there are two ways to lock/unlock the safe. It requires four batteries, and if the batteries die, I can use the keys.The pricing is reasonable, and there is a decent amount of space to store things. I recommend this safe!

I have two pistols I keep in my safe. This is perfect. Very easy to maneuver. This is an awesome safe in my opinion.

This safe is a good fit for most places in the house - in the closet, anchored to a floor, this makes for a good safe repository for your most important paperwork.

I’m really pleased with this Home Safe Box! The 0.8 cubic size is perfect for storing my valuables without taking up too much space. This safe is very heavy, with dense steel and cheap plastic. The safe will keep things safe from curious family and friends, opportunistic thieves, and other visitors. The bolts are thick and heavy, but the hinge is a weak point. The keypad is battery operated and only releases the handle lock. The knob must still be turned manually to open the safe. There is an override key that is hidden by a plastic cover (mine came broken). The mechanism to unlock the safe could easily be broken and the safe opened manually without having to disturb any of the steel.Overall, this safe looks secure, feels heavy, can open with a combination or a key, and can be secured to a floor or other secured furniture. The reality of the cheap plastic handle and component box is that simply breaking the plastic housing of the keypad would allow easy entrance to the contents.
