Add up to 4 devices quickly and easily with the Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub. The thin, lightweight design makes this hub a great travel companion to expand one USB 3.0 port into four. Especially great for notebooks which come with only a few ports in an era when you need to attach many USB devices at once, such as a printer, card reader, cell phone, iPod, thumb drive, mouse, keyboard, or an external hard drive. Fully backwards compatible with the USB 2.0/1.1 products. Plus, each port has its own separate power switch so you can control each port independently.

Expand your high speed USB 3.0 ports

Technology seems to advance at ever increasing speeds. With the recent release of Super-Speed USB 3.0, you can now transfer data at up to 10 times the speeds of the older USB 2.0 standards! Speeds of 5Gbps are a vast improvement over USB 2.0 that only supports up to 480Mbps. The Sabrent USB 3.0 Hub is a great tool to expand a single USB 3.0 port into 4 ports, so now you can connect all of your USB devices at one time. Plus, its small and elegant design has been configured to be as thin as possible so as to not take up precious space as you travel. Yet, it is still backward compatible with your older devices, so you can still use it in conjunction with USB 2.0 devices.

System Requirements:

  • Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10
  • Mac OS X

Please Note:

2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not work in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended.

For a stable connection, the devices connected to the 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub must not exceed a combined current of 5 volts 900 mAh. This 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub will not charge an iPad (it will only sync).

Package contents

  • Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0
  • 5V/2.5A power adapter

This USB3 hub works perfectly! The per-port power buttons are physical switches that turn off power to any device connected. This is very handy when you want to complete cut off power to devices not in use like cameras, microphones, drives, Wifi & LAN adapters. Included power supply has enough power to run anything that operates on USB power. Solid choice for a USB hub!

I couldn't find any reviews that were doing exactly what I'm trying to do: run four high speed USB drives off this device. IT WORKS GREAT! The drives are going as fast as physically possible simultaneously, whether they are connected to each other on the hub or transferring data to/from USB drives connected to other ports off the hub. I was worried that it wouldn't handle all four ports going full out all the time, but it's working great and I couldn't be happier!

No more scrabbling around the back of my desktop to change USB leads, this product allows me to manage all my USB connected products, each having it’s own independent on/off switch and power on light, so at a glance I can check what’s connected and what’s not. It’s not the cheapest option, but the build quality and the name of the manufacturer make this worth every penny. Especially if you need access to a large number of USB 3 sockets and want ease of use, in every sense, this could be the solution for you. Highly recommended.

This 4 port USB 3 powered hub works great for all USB devices such as USB drive, keyboard , mouse, audio interface, drawing tablets, MIDI devices, USB ethernet adapter, etc.So far all devices get detected immediately. I had issues with other cheaper USB hubs (such as NAIO-CHAO with on/off switches) with detection of some devices (audio interface in my case) needing reconnect or switching USB port off/on every time computer started and even with that drawing tablet kept getting unrecognized USB device error. So there seems to be differences in USB hubs on what is used inside as some unknown brands don't perform consistently and can have compatibility issues.Comparatively this is not less expensive device but works flawlessly and highly recommend as a great choice for needing 4 ports with on/off switches. I had similar good result with other USB hubs (without on/off switches) from brands, tp-link and BYEASY.Even though this hub works without power adapter as well for all my devices so far, connecting included power adapter is a good choice to cover all power drawing scenarios and help laptop battery charge last longer.I haven't done speed testing but practically seems no different than other USB 3 hubs. This being 4 port USB hub for portability, USB cable length is fine for most use like next to laptop or wish to be longer in other use. Detachable cable may be helpful in that case. Or use additional extension cable.

I recently purchased the Sabrent 16-Port USB Hub from Store4PC, and I must say it's a fantastic product! With its impressive number of ports, I can connect all my devices effortlessly. The build quality is excellent, and it provides reliable performance, making it a great addition to my setup.Initially, I was a little skeptical about buying from Store4PC because they do not clearly explain that they work directly with Sabrent as an authorized sales partner. To ease my concerns, I reached out to Sabrent directly and confirmed that Store4PC is indeed the only recognized and authorized sales partner for their products.Important: If you see a seller other than Store4PC, I highly recommend not using them. It’s crucial to purchase from authorized sellers to ensure you're getting a genuine product and reliable support. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hub itself.

Does the job -- i now have a comfortable number of ports that are easily accessible to me. I like having the two dedicated charging ports as this way it doesn't try to connect whatever device i'm charging to my computer. The one quibble (which I've seen other reviewers note as well) is that it's super light/there's no way to secure it to anything. So if you use it in the vertical configuration in the little base provided, any cables you plug in the back will tend to pull the whole thing up at an angle due to the weight of the cables -- see photo. it doesn't bother me, but it's something to be aware of.Charging could be faster but whatever, it's fine.Seems to provide USB 3 appropriate speeds. (I've got a couple external hard drives connected to it, file copies seem to go at an appropriate speed).

I've purchased two of these USB hubs over the course of the past 6 months or so, and so far they work really well. I like the fact that you can turn on and off the different USB ports on the device to easily turn on and off devices. I use it to connect up with a joystick and throttle so that I can turn them off when I'm not using them to avoid controller interference in other games that I don't want to use them with. It's much easier and less stressful on the plugs than having to unplug and replug them every time I'd like to use them. When the ports are turned on, they have a faint blue glow from the LEDs underneath so you can easily tell if the port is on or off. They don't seem to be super bright like other items I've used in the past which is a plus.I have not tested throughput or connection speeds through this device, however using a joystick and throttle through the device I have not noticed any input latency, everything registers immediately. One downside to this device for my personal use was the (very) short USB cable, but I could see this hub being used with a more portable device such as a laptop where extra cable would get in the way. I picked up a USB 3.0 extension cable to hook this to my desktop machine so that I could put it on my desk for easy reach. The buttons wouldn't be very accessible on a desktop machine in most situations without one. I won't knock a star for it though, as this is likely due to the way I personally wanted it to be setup.Overall the device seems solid, and I use the on/off buttons on an almost daily basis and they have not failed yet in 6 months, which was one of the worries I originally had when purchasing.

Here is my review of the Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub and 5V/2.5A power adapter :My laptop has only 2 usb3.0 ports, and I have a plethora of devices that I have to plug in. Ethernet to usb, external hard drive, mouse, flash drives. And I really needed something to fit my needs. I found many devices that I thought would fit my needs, some looked tad nice than this one (with brushed aluminum and sleeker designs), but this was the best one I could find that had a power adapter. One main concern I had was powering my external hard drive. I didn't want it to run on low power, which can damage the drive. And having multiple devices plugged into one port doesn't supply them all with the right amount of power. So this one it is!I received the item from my residence hall's front desk (go college!). Prime 2 day shipping worked like a breeze (unlike last time...). As soon as i received the box, i turned it on its side to carry it with one hand: and I could feel the contents of the box shift and smack the bottom of the box. My heart sank. I bought this with the UTechSmart Uranus mouse (review here: ). Opening returning to my room I opened it and found that they had only but bubble wrap between the two items, and not around the two items. What idiot packed my box?!?!?! I was hoping nothing would be DOA because of shipping. The actual box for this was fairly nice. Sleek black cardboard, well wrapped parts. Came with the hub and attached usb cord and a nice long power adapter. I opened it up and plugged it in! I decided to try all my items one at a time. First the Ethernet. Plugged it in and... nothing. Tried different ports, tried turning on and off the buttons. Nothing. Unplugged the hub, replugged, and still nothing. Losing hope I unplugged everything, replugged, and it worked?! After further testing with various devices, I think I believe it is this. If you unplug without ejecting the hub, my CPU doesn't like it and has issues reconnecting the devices later. So after a small heart attack it works.Pros:power adapter (5'8")4 USB3.0 portsbuttons to turn items on and offworks well with all my various devicesspeed seems to be doing fine as wellCons:Only comes in blueLEDs only light up the bottom half of the buttonsports are super tight, all devices have to be forced in and outUSB cord is a tad short. Would have liked to see a few more inches on itBit finicky with disconnecting and reconnectingOverall:Has lots of pros and cons. Cons are a few things that I can work around, so I am happy it works. For 16$ it’s not bad. Will edit if something comes up later. Due to the issues I've had, only 4/5 stars for the product. If I could give amazon a separate rating, it would probably be 2/5 stars. (one star up from my last shipment)
