I've been using these for years. Great for tubing, and car bodies. Once their in, they don't pull out. Very reasonably priced. Get the tool with them, it works great.

Quality control is not part of this manufactures vocabulary. out of 25 pcs, two were defective in that the threads will not thread onto the installation mandrel, nor will the bolt thread into them.

I bought these to repair stripped out screen door holes in my pool cage. They are still holding up. I built my own compression tool after looking on ebay. EZPZ.

These are awesome for installation of components in a truck bed. Making sure the drill hole size is correct makes a big difference

I’ve used these to mount various pieces of furniture on outside walls of RV’s with foam core panels. These anchors are strong enough to expand inside the foam sandwich panel and pull tight against the plywood interior panel. It would take considerable force to rip one of these out of a wall once installed. I have the riv-nut tool to install these but it can be easily accomplished with a bolt nut and washer to expand them

I used these in my van for hanging cabinets etc. Sometimes the plus nut will "pull" slightly off center, and this makes it difficult to insert a bolt. Then you need to use a tap to make the external hole large enough to get a bolt in. Not extremely difficult, but annoying.

These are thick-walled riv nuts and really hold in place like iron. Much stronger than the cheaper types that look like a indoor drywall anchor. I used them in a fiberglas tub to hold a safety handle in place, putting the rivnut in from the exposed surface of the tub and using a rivnut tool to compress it into place. Then I put the handle on and two bolts into the riv nuts. That handle isn't coming off, believe me. These also have a nice thick, large head on them so there is plenty of surface behind the hole to hold your screw or bolt in without tearing through the material.
