Great plastic welder for larger jobs. The staple tool does a good job getting up to temp quickly and maintaining heat. Welds quickly and the staples work great in closing cracks. The paddle welder works very well melting plastic welding rods to finalize fill cracks, then melting steel wool or stainless mesh into the area and providing a much stronger repair. I repaired my city trash can after the top was seriously broken. It stands up well to the inevitable abuse with no new damage.Not awesome for small detail work, so I also purchased this companies smaller paddle welder. It works well.Make sure you wear gloves….now I have two more scars on my left hand. It does get hot!

Works great, fast start up for heat. So little waiting between parts. Only thing i would recommend, order a stand for the iron. You cant set it down hot. But still great value for the cost

The plastic iron ended up melting itself. It got so hot. The rest of it worked as it should.

Worked perfectly, take your time using it. If you try to rush you'll make mistakes and get upset.

As a starter kit I don’t think you can get better. It has really worked very well on plastic repairs

Never used before and after a few minutes of You tube videos on "You break it you fix it" I fixed car body panels like a pro. Save yourself a lot of money just fix your plastic pieces.
