Fairly light before first use but after can feel a bit heavy, on the order of 40 lbs. I got this to wash my cars with a spigot closest to the street. Live in a town with extremely hard water and this helped me have perfect spotless car washes. Haven’t had to regenerate yet but clear instructions are provided when the time comes. Also comes with a ton of replacement parts and adapters. Will be ready to plug and play.

FANTASTIC water softner! I live in very hard water area and this softner was perfect right out of the box. The additional supplies are a bonus. It installed in minutes and was very easy. If I can do it ANYONE will be able to install. Within 24 hours (it worked right away but got better) the water tested as perfectly soft (bought test kit separately) and made a huge improvement. Taste, smell, and water softness. Shampoo lathered, dry skin from hard water gone, water spots on dishes and sink & shower all gone. I am very impressed and happy with results.Even BETTER is the customer service! I ran into an issue and contacted NP GLOBAL and the response was fast! They IMMEDIATELY helped me resolve the problem, kept in constant contact, and even went above & beyond and offered replacement or refund. 100% STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! ABSOLUTELY recommend this water softner and NP GLOBAL!

I wish I knew about this years ago. It's the best investment I've put into our travel trailer. I can't say enough about how incredible it is to have such soft water so quickly. No more hard water stains or build up and cut down on how much soap we use. It's amazing what it's done for my skin. We live full time in our trailer and highly recommend this product.

Did exactly what it is supposed to do. Brought my water hardness level from a 7 (Hard) to a 0 (Soft). Would definitely recommend for RV'ers who have issues with hard water.

I am a 70 year old woman and was able to install it in 10 minutes. Works perfectly. My hair is no longer mineral coated and heavy. My sinks and toilet are no longer etched by calcium. My dishes no longer have hard water spots on them. Love it!

Easy to set up, good size, great soft water inside our big RV as soon as we received it.When we regenerated it a few weeks later, the test strip shows our water was HARD. I contacted the seller who responded almost immediately suggesting to regenerate again and if that didn't solve the issue (which it did!), then to let them know and they would do whatever was needed to make it work. What a treat to deal with a company that is so helpful!!!Since we have such hard water here in the desert that we should have probably regenerated sooner...We're extremely glad we bought this portable water softener from a responsible seller that is so caring to make sure it works for us!We highly recommend this product!

If you can attach a garden hose, you can install this in minutes. It’s ready to go right out of the box. Has everything you need and then some for any install application. I’m using it to soften water going in to my RV. I had a quick install question and texted their customer service line. Super fast response with exact info I needed. Highly recommended. Great value.

I wanted to update this review. I have left attached the original review so you can see the original issue.The company's customer service department reached out to us concerning the issues we had both with the product and the original lack of customer service. . They have replaced the unit with a new unit and it is working great. They were very helpful after the initial contact. Our issue is resolved and we are pleased with their attentiveness to our concern and issue. The product is working great. As you can see I have upgraded our review to 4 star. The reason for not giving it 5 stars; I feel we should not have had the customer service issue to begin with. A bad single product is expected upon occasion. Poor customer service is not.We haven't even had this a full year and apparently need to replace the resin inside. When we hook it up all that comes out is orange water. Water's clear without the softener inline. We've back flushed several times and still orange. Called customer support and their answer was "Guess you need new resin. We don't sell it and you'll need 21 pounds of food grade resin." Where to get it? "Did you check Amazon?" Seriously?! Thanks for your help, NOT!

Excellent water softener for RV use! Works flawlessly and at a much better price than other comparable models. Easy to install, reliable performance, and makes a noticeable difference in water quality. It also comes with everything possible that you would need to connect it. Highly recommend!

**Edit** I have been using this, as I said, from the 29th of November and am just now needing to regenerate it. Granted, it is only me in my trailer, but I use a normal amount of water, even doing wash in a portable machine, so about 12 gallons every couple of weeks, along with showers and dishes, and the toilet. I think that’s an excellent amount of soft water for that long of a period, nearly three months! I am even more impressed now. ***This is working well. I have had it hooked up to my travel trailer system since the 29th of November and am still getting soft, soft water. On the hardness scale, it is still down at the lowest, nearly green, which is the least hard water. I did have another brand before this but that one leaked after a couple of years of use. So far this one is perfect, was easy to install and has no leaks at all. I don’t mind drinking the soft water and really don’t have a choice since there is only one input. (I don’t buy water)I honestly don’t think it’s bad tasting at all, in fact it’s better tasting than the soft water at home.I did hook two different filter systems up between this and the source since the water where I winter is horribly sandy and very, very hard. The filters help keep this running free and clear. I use much less detergent when doing clothes and less shampoo too. My skin looks better and hair is great with the softened water.I haven’t yet had to regenerate, so if anything changes I will update my review.I’m very happy with this purchase!
