Reimagining What Makes a Professional RV Water Filter
In the past, like most people, I used a small RV filter because it was advertised as a professional and portable RV filter. However, one day, our company's R&D personnel informed me that, after conducting thorough research, they discovered that this type of small filter was only filled with outdated filter materials, such as carbon powder. Moreover, once the water flow exceeded 2 gallons per minute, the filter's effectiveness would be greatly reduced. I conducted several tests, and the results supported the R&D personnel's findings.
This realization caught my attention because we cannot always ensure that the water flow we use is less than 2 gallons per minute. This means that many times, the water we use is not effectively filtered. As a result, we spent six months and conducted numerous tests to develop a new filter system that addresses the issues of blockage, high pressure drop, and limited water flow. Our new filter system can handle a maximum outlet flow rate of 6 gallons per minute, providing optimal performance.

We got this RV filter for our farm so we could filter the water for rinsing off muddy feet and hands. It was so simple to set up, and has been super durable. It's got a good weight to it when it's filled with water so it doesn't move around, but still easy to move as needed. It has been sitting out in the weather for a month now and hasn't leaked or given us any problems! We're actually going to buy another for the other side of our property!

The setup was real easy to assemble and apply to my setup for detailing. I live in California and the water here is super hard so I just attached this to my main line then to my pressure washer and I've noticed a big difference with no water spots on my vehicle. Great product affordable and does the job well. Highly recommend.

I recently invested in this water filtration system for my car wash setup, and I’m very pleased with the results.The filtration system effectively removes a significant amount of impurities while still allowing enough water to flow into the pressure washer. Easy to install, great quality of materials, very impressed with water flow there was no restriction at all! Eliminated chlorine smell completely, taste greatly improved an water doesn't burn your eyes anymore! It eliminated 85 to 90% of water spotting I'm satisfied with it for the price being that in my area we have very hard water, some of the worst I've experienced! I'm considering installing another one in-line being that it doesn't restrict water flow at all to improve on water spotting.I thought I was getting the blue clear housing but I'm glad I didn't, this one feels alot sturdier and will not get brindle with time and sun exposure, I believe that the clear housing will allow for algae growth considerably limiting the life of the filter element, I used the torpedo cheap filters before and they rarely lasted a month and water flow was ridiculous! I live in my rv full time and have washing machine used almost daily and had the filter installed two months ago and there is no change since it was first installed!The claim that it lasts a considerably long time in my opinion, will greatly depend on the quality of water in your area...yet you can't beat the price even with the more recent filter changing. I will certainly update when the need to replace the filter element comes, and then I will have my second filter assembly to install two at a time!As far as installation it's a breeze! It comes with two fittings with male ends( I use the CAMCO heated hoses and the female ends fit perfectly without having to buy any fittings.

The filter housing with bleeder button and included hardware were very robust and the carry handle makes this very convenient. Although do yourself a favor and pitch the included “thread tape” ive never seen nor used anything like that stuff, used a lot of different thread tapes for various applications over the years, im not an expert in it though but whatever comes with this as thread tape is beyond me figuring out.But i wouldnt count that as a neg at all, its a bonus that it even came with something (or a waste) most people have plenty different thread tapes laying around and can pick a roll up pretty much anywhere for a buck or two.The filter housing is very thick and durable, comes with a nice solid housing wrench and a filter that blew my mind!I had such low expectations for the filter initially and bought it soley for the robust canister, but I decided to use it for some very rusty reservoir water and I could not believe how clean and clear the water came through and how long it lasted before the flow slowed down noticeably enough to check the filter … when i opened it to inspect - there was just solid rust all the way around … it had stopped any from getting through … next i tried a “better” kdf/cat carbon media bottom flow filter next and it caught all the rust and kept the water very clean but lasted probably 25% as long before clogging and needing changed … so now i only order these kintim filters and am very pleased with them!

I really like the simplicity of the filter and the size for the price. I did not receive the wrench and it took all the strength I had to tighten it enough to make a seal. The directions are not helpful except to put the handle. If you haven’t done any simple plumbing it may take a second to figure out. And have a good wrench for the connections they don’t work putting them on hand tight or even lightly wrenched on. Took the chlorine smell out of my water. Had to run the water for around 10 min to get the plastic smell from the filter out.

The unit seemed durable out of the box. Easy install. Thread tape stoped the adapters from leaking. It worked awesome for for about a month until one night, while everyone was asleep in the camper, the transparent housing ruptured. Got up in the morning to shower to discover we didn’t have water. I went outside to inspect and found I needed swim trunks to get through the lake that had appeared overnight. The crack was near the bottom approximately 3 inches long and gushing water at 60psi. Not really the shower I wanted before work. I shut off the water and bypassed the filter so we had water. I wish I knew where to buy a replacement housing.
