Easy to wash and dry. Comes in a two pack so you can easily switch one and clean it and have a backup. Just make sure it is secured in place so the air doesn’t blow around it. I secured mine with a small bundle tie just to make sure!!

The original filter was thin flimsy foam, this is an actual quality filter material.

These are indeed 16" x 4" filters. We installed these in our 2014 ACE Thor 29.2 Class A RV with a Coleman Mach AC. These replaced the original black filter, which was cheap and starting to tear. We had to trim just a hair off of these blue filters to fit the length of the AC tray. No bid deal. I like how they are much sturdier than the originals and I'm hoping they do a better job of filtering. I will update this review in a few months when it's time to replace them again, because I'm interested in how long they last, and I know other RVers will want to know as well before buying. Overall, for now I would rate these filters as 5 out of 5 stars.

The Birllaid Air Conditioner filters for the Coleman Mach A/Cs come in a two-pack and are made with two kinds of polyester - a larger hole "blue" side and a finer hole "white" side. The blue side faces outward and captures dust while the inner facing white side capturing pollen and smaller particles. I found that the filters were a little narrower and a little longer that the original black "sponge" filters in my units, but not enough difference to cause any air seepage or fit problems.Overall, the filters seem to capture more dust and dirt than the original filters. I will probably wash mine and replace them every two or three years, depending upon how well they wear.

Definitely a better filter than the stock black foam, and on par with the price of the traditional foam filters. This filter was cut perfectly, including the square notch for the housing screw and fit like a glove. I wouldn't say this filter is going to noticeably reduce allergens but will definitely be better than just the foam filter. Honestly you don't want a super restrictive allergen type filter due to it reducing air volume and making your a/c unit work harder. Even my household a/c filters are on the thinner less restrictive side to provide better air flow. This filter is basically a foam filter with a thin layer of quilt style batting. The pictures provided by the manufacturer are an accurate description of the filter. For pretty much the same cost as the cheap foam filters installed on these units, you will get an extra layer of material that will trap more dust/fine particles, without overly restricting airflow.
