The filter is fine. The box came torn and tapes like it had been return. It was sent alone and not in another box to protect it from damage.

Might have to unscrew a few bolts but it is a super simple switch out!!! I replace my engine air filter and my AC air filter once a year (after pollen season). This fits a 2015 Honda Pilot. You can look up a simple how to video on YouTube to replace it. I personally don't have a mechanic replace this because it's so easy.

I had a squirrel get into my cars vents and die. It was in there for a few weeks in the hot arizona summer. In spite of doing a full decon, the housing still reeks. This filter removes all the stench before the air enters the cabin. Replace every six months or so.
