This rust-remover does work, but not nearly as well as what I usually use, CLR. It takes a while to do it's job, and may take multiple passes.

My daughter’s bicycle had a rusty rim so I had to try this on it. I gooped it on the rim and let it site for 10 min. During the process I could see it cleaning the surface rust off nicely. Once the time was up, I wiped it away and it was a night and day difference to the rest of the rusty rim. I will now be completing the job and will be proud to have her riding a nice shiny bike again.

My toolbox in the house has few tools that are getting kind of rusty and I was seriously concerned about using it because of how rusty some of them are. These worked perfectly and got rid of the rust from most of the tools. Letting it sit for about 10 minutes before cleaning it gave me the best result.

This works! I'm happy to report that it does remove rust pretty well. I tried out the gel by applying it on my metal chair that developed a spot of rust. I left it on for a few minutes than scrubbed away at it with a brush and the spot was gone. It's simple and effective and I'm happy to have ordered it.

The acid in product is what dissolves the rust on the item. This is a rust dissolver and not converter so you do t want to leave it on the item you are treating. It seems to work very well and is comparable to other dissolvers that I have used in the past. I like that it is thickened so you can easily control where it goes.

Seems to be a decent rust-removing jelly, I put this on some areas of my mini-lathe that had some surface rust from being in storage, scrubbed it in with a toothbrush and let it sit for about 10 minute then rinsed off and the surface rust was gone... Dried and put on a coat of paste wax to protect the now fresh bare metal...

I tested this on three steel items. A truck rim with a small amount of surface rust, player with heavy thick rust and an old bird waterer with a lot of surface rust. I applied with a small nylon brush and let sit about 7 mins. instructions were (5 to 10). The truck rim I just rubbed with a cloth. The player I had to scrape due to its thickness. The bird waterer I just gently rubbed with the nylon brush and rinsed. I was most impressed with the last one. See pics.
