Roll out the pastry dough

Flour the pelmeni mold before use

Put the dough sheet on the pelmeni maker
Step 4
Put a half of a teaspoon of minced meat in each cell pocket
Step 5
Flatten the mince with your finger
Step 6
Water the dough edges for better gluing
Step 7
Roll out a second layer of dough on top of the first
Step 8
Remove excess dough on the edges of the form. Turn the form over. Shake it and ravioli/pelmeni should just come out all separated

Went to wash the item and all the paint came off and I can’t use it as there is continuous paint coming off this. It was silver/chrome when I received it now it’s all gray. Why paint this if it’s not safe for washing? It’s supposed to be safe to use for making food. I would stay away from this item.

I just used it to make 148. It would work better if the little feet where a little longer but it's fine.Recipes for the dough online seemed to vary a lot in the ratio of flour & egg, so I just winged it and it turned out great. I think I used 4 cups of flour & 2 eggs.Filling, I used 1lb of country pork, 1lb of venison, 1 onion, 1 bulb of garlic, some salt & pepper, and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Not sure how authentic that is, but they where great. Each batch I stuffed more than the last. If I had stuffed them all heavily, that amount of filling would have been just right, but if I had stuffed them the amount that seems to be traditional it would have been way too much.
