First time use out of the box, we hand washed it and tried to make ravioli but noticed that the ravioli was sparkling with silver bits. After trying to wash down the metal mold we started to notice that the metal was flaking off of it. Think this is a pretty big safety food hazard.

Rolling pin was roughly sanded so not great but the most annoying is that the plastic ravioli tray does not fit under the metal part correctly. It is fairly useless this way.

Having recently taken a pasta making class in Rome, Italy, I wanted to get some tools in my kitchen to continue making the pasta recipes I learned in Rome. I found this set and really liked the number of items that came in this set at the price point. There are more items in this set than what I used in Italy.The pasta wheel is what I was really looking for along with the round press. Those two main items can make many of the other shapes that are included, but it is great to have the other presses and tools. The rolling pin is a good weight and easy to roll out the dough with.While I found this to be good at the price point, I felt that the quality of the items were a little lower than what I had used in the class I took. The round press seems a little flimsy but you shouldn't have to press hard at all to use it. The pasta wheel is a little lower quality as well. However, I think this is really all I need and it works for me.If you are looking for an all-in-one set to have some fun pasta making nights or even a pasta making party, this might be what you are looking for!

We’ve been getting into making our own pasta lately and this kit moves us into the ravioli area. There are a lot of nice pieces in this set that allow you to create nice looking ravioli with proper crimped edges. The tray to fill and single fold over is great to have. We especially like the cutting wheel and square and circular cutters that produce really nice-looking ravioli. This is a good assortment of tools to get started on this venture.
