We added a small drink station in our kitchen to replace some damaged cabinets from a burst pipe. It's a temporary situation for insurance reasons (as we are planning on a full on remodel). I used Rubio Monocoat on the butcher block counter and it turned out great.Based on the recommendation of Rubio to use this to clean the counters I have only used this to clean that counter. So I don't have a lot to compare, but it does work well and leaves the counter looking amazing when I'm done cleaning it (which we wipe it down with this about weekly).I don't have a good image to really show, but figured you could see the counter in place.

Such a disappointment! We love our Rubio Monocoat floors, but have been searching in vain for a way to remove the “artwork” our toddler made in black permanent marker. Other DIY methods recommended online for traditional wood finishes haven’t worked. I found a video from Rubio Monocoat recommending this spray and their “magic sponge” to remove permanent marker. They no longer seem to make the sponge, and after opening the spray I realized this “surface care spray” is just a tiny bottle of their regular soap and a branded plastic spray bottle to dilute the soap. Tried it anyways with a microfiber cloth per the directions on the bottle - and no, it didn’t work. Save yourself $ and just buy the big soap bottle for regular and spot cleaning. Guess we’ll have to live with the marker for now…
