This finish is super simple to use.It was just a bit too matte for my taste though, so I did end up applying some semi-gloss poly over the top.If nothing else, it made a great base-coat for the poly. Most Watco products are hard to beat in the their price range, and this one is no different.

This is the second time we've purchase Danish Oil to finish raw wood without staining or using polyurethane. It leaves a nice, natural finish that enhances and protects the wood.

I own a woodworking shop in Watco is my go to finish product. It goes on easily and leaves a beautiful final finish. There are dozens of colors and shades to choose from so it fits almost any project.

This oil reveals such a beautiful finish. I used it to bring an antique paint box back to life. The only downside is that there is a strong smell. It is not unpleasant but I found that if I left the box outside over a couple of days the smell abated.

Great simple finish with just two applications. I've used in many times. Most recently, it was used on outdoor furniture and it lasted the entire summer.

I love this oil. I use two or three coats, sanding very lightly in between, and it really brings out the color and grain. I've attached a picture that shows the raw wood against the wood after using the oil. Sometimes I wait three days and then put a few coats of polyurethane over it if I don't want to have to maintain it.

I stripped the paint, sanded then oiled with this and it turned out perfect! I was worried it would explode before making it to my door but it didn’t. I don’t do these projects a lot so I’m no expert but it was easy and I’m happy with it.

The oil itself is fine. But the 'tamper-proof' type cap is a PITA. I stripped the catches and had to pry the cap off
