Initially we thought it was just the bottom/back that was damaged during shipment and started building it. Only to find out it was several spots including dead center of the top. I’m extremely unhappy that it was so poorly shipped and damaged, but at this point don’t want to take the thing apart and return it either. I’m hopeful the seller can do something to rectify the situation. Overall we like it, seems durable and fits our dogs well.

This is so cute!! Took some time to put together. Look very nice in my guest room and has plenty of room for the pup. Crate lock is secure and love that the top lifts up.

Reviews made me wary, some concerns about holes not lining up. We had no big issues with that. The only holes that didn't line up were for the door latches. We were able to screw them in securely anyway. I will line the bottom of the kennel with plastic or some kind of water resistant material, as the bottom is just the same particle board as the rest of the kennel. My dogs don't pee in their kennels, but I'm concerned about the occasional vomiting so I will protect the bottom. Haven't used it yet. It looks great, seems strong and secure. Perfect size for my 30 lb beagle and Jack Russel mix. I will come back to update if it isn't as secure as it appears.

The latch on one of the doors didn’t have enough pressure to stay locked. My 40lb boxer was able to bend the bars and even break them after being in here for just a few hours

Easy assembly after I put it together backwards the first time. Pay close attention to upper left corner of step 4 in assembly instructions. It’s very well made and larger than anticipated. Our two mini Aussies are living like king and queen.

My pooch is a 110-pound pitbull. He’s a free house-roamer, and doesn’t really need a cage, but he was crate trained when we got him, and it seems to comfort him when he doesn’t feel well. We will send him to his “room” when people first arrive at our house or when the pizza guy delivers (he’s been known to run out the door and jump in the delivery vehicle if we don’t restrain him first).I purchased the largest cage to offer my dog more head room and to ensure the floor would support his weight. This cage is definitely tall enough, although it could be just a little wider. I don’t believe there will be an issue in the floor supporting his weight. The finished product is very sturdy and a nice piece of furniture; much nicer than our dog’s existing wire cage. The product pictures don’t do it justice.A product improvement I would suggest would be to include a washable, removable vinyl floor mat, pad, or tray. While my dog is house trained, he does have a sensitive tummy, and gets sick frequently. He is very good at using his cage to prevent clean up elsewhere in the house. • Very heavy box arrived in good shape • The contents were protected and packed snuggly and were in perfect condition • All hardware was included and nicely labeled • It took about 20 minutes to unpack for orderly methodical construction • The instructions were “self-explanatory”, mostly diagrams • We took our time reviewing the directions prior to building to ensure no mishaps, so it took just over 2 hours to assemble, with no issues • The sliding doors do have stickers on the viewable outside, which is not ideal. I don’t want to scratch or mar the surface, so, for now they’ll remain.Overall, we feel this dog crate is worth the price.

I did a lot of research and I’m glad I did. Most had a two piece tops. This piece is sturdy, beautiful, had a sturdy one piece top, and was easy to assemble. It took about 2 1/2 hours with two people. Step by step directions, well marked pieces. We laid out all pieces and that made it easier to assemble. I wouldn’t place untrained dogs in this but it is perfect for kennel trained dogs. Highly recommended

This is OK for a midsize dog and is nicely made looks nice. However I’d be concerned with using it with bigger dogs that have some strength. Door latches are a little flimsy. But my Shiba loves it.
