The instructions for putting it together are mostly visual, but it does say which parts you need.Once I understood that it starts from the top to the bottom (upside-down), it wasn't a problem. It's better to have help holding the pieces while putting the screws in.The wood and metal are a bit heavy, but can be done alone.I used my own hex screwdrivers for the comfortable, but it comes with it's own hex screwdrivers. You will need your own Phillips 🪛 screwdriver. The wheels make it easy for moving it while cleaning. The wheels are very strong too.The lid is easily to lift up for putting your pet in or out quickly without having to mess with the latches. The latches are very strong and secure. The doors are sturdy.I leave the side door open so my cats can go in and out when they want food. I open the front doors when refilling their food. I would recommend an pad on the bottom if you keep a water bowl inside or plan to leave them for long time. It's an excellent purchase in my opinion.I have to large cats that fit easily in it with two food bowls and one water bowl.

This end table crate is nice in appearance, but I'm concerned about the latches. They seem very flimsy, and easy to escape. I have a crate trained puppy in there now, but only when I can monitor him at this point. I would not trust him to break out of this crate fairly easily. I am going to try to think of a way to upgrade the latches, but I'm not sure it's possible. On another note: I would say it was pretty easy to put together, but there were two of us. It is very heavy too.

We adopted 2 small chihuahuas and they came with a very small crate that had them practically on top of each other, now they have plenty of room and the little one loves to just hang out inside. It was easy to assemble, very sturdy and I love the color!

Overall this is a decent cage. It looks nice and the size is adequate for an 80 lb German Shepard. I also like the wheels on the bottom that allows the cage to be easily moved by me to clean around it. I have had no problem with my dog moving the cage around, however, she is pretty calm when in her crate. The negative is the doors and latches. The springs on the door latches are very flimsy. My dog already broke the one spring and she is not aggressive about getting out at all. This occurred with minor pushing on the door. Also, the door on the end of the cage only opens on one side. This is not a wide enough opening for my dog to walk through. It's an okay cage just not sure I would spend this kind of money on the cage again.

We have a Malinois, similar to what the product image shows. Malinois are working dogs often with police and military, for a reason. We were looking for a crate to keep our Mal away from strange people in the house. This crate works really well. It looks great and most importantly our Mal loves it in there. The sturdiness is reasonable but I would not use it for a working mal that you don't control. The lock could be improved. We use an extra strap to make sure the door can't be opened. We love the feature that allows you to partially open the roof. It allows visitors to make contact while the dog is controlled. Also makes the dog feel a little more comfortable with a sense of openness. Assembly wasn't too hard. Pay attention were the roof hinge goes and don't mix up the side panels like I did. Great product. Well packaged. We have been using it for 4 weeks now.

Great quality. Not cheap looking at all. Very spacious and I love that the top opens also, making it easier to remove the bedding for washing. The latch is strong and secure. I have this in my living room as it is classy enough to fit right in. Well worth the money spent.

The latch on this kennel is a joke. I bought a 42" kennel and the latch has no locking mechanism. My dog unlocks it everytime with little effort. The latch is probably fine for a small dog but it's ridiculous that a kennel this size comes with a latch just barely bigger than my thumbnail. You push it to the right to engage the small metal loop and push it to the left to disengage it. There is no top/down securing with this design so all a dog has to do is wiggle the door enough to loosen the latch loop enough to get free. I bought this so I could save space and use it for a printer/scanner table. I plan to try to caribiner the door shut. I don't know what else to do as it's already assembled and I don't have the box.
