This tool is absolutely what you need to change torsion keys - I used it on my 2013 Silverado 2500HD. Don’t waste your time renting the c clamp style tool from you local auto parts. Spend the money on this and the job is easy, I finished both sides in 45 minutes.

Forget that c clamp tool. This is the one to use. It will not deform or fly off. Before you use it, very important, lubricate the screws with a very high pressure lube. I use an incredibly thick and sticky lube called moly ep extreme pressure lube, comes in a green tube. It's like the consistency of paste but will work perfect. Oil is not enough. Grease is needed.

Just letting it be known i love Rough Country products. I lifted my truck with nothing but their stuff.Amazon staited it was a scratch and dent used still good shape. But, the center bolt was bent to the point it were it will not move. It is obvious that the tool was used improperly and then returned. My own fault for cheaping out on a tool I'm only going to use once. So, buyer beware. Amazon's lack of knowledge about things can bite you.

This tool broke on the first use. The end that pushes on the torsion key snapped off and the threads pulled out. Would be better with a different steel or maybe some heat treating. I also imagine had they used a finer thread pitch it would be a lot stronger. Krytonite has one for only a few dollars more and its fine thread. I suggest getting that one.

I haven’t used it yet... but I will be using it on a 2005 Silverado rough country lift... I have a c clamp style torsion key tool and I’ve used it but I don’t feel comfortable with it... the rough country tool feels much more secure for that task imho... will update after I do the lift

Took a little bit of time to figure out how best to use it. The small piece that fits into the cross member tends to fall out before you get tension on it. Required a large cresent wrench to keep it aligned.
