Does what it is supposed to. Put larger keys on a 17 Chevy 2500. Cranked on this thing hard with a impact and it handled it great.

Fits the tight clearance of the wider crossmember on the newer trucks with the larger diesel exhaust.Did not need to pry the exhaust on 2020+ L5P.Enter from the back side of the crossmember and slide it towards the recess.

Rented a tool that didn’t fit bought this and it worked 100% you’ll have to use a crow bar to lift the exhaust on the passenger side slightly to get it in but it works fine after.

I had remove the transmission from a 2022 Duramax and the torsion bar crossmember has to be removed to get the transfercase out. This worked perfectly fine to unload the torsion bars. It was a close fit on the passenger side with the exhaust in place, but I didn't even have to pry it away. Plenty of strength to do the job.

Over all the tool looks nice but I never got a chance to try it. This will not work on a 2021 2500 HD. On the passenger side the tool will not clear the exhaust and allow the top of the tool in interface the pin in the frame rail correctly. You could try it but based on the tension the results might not be as expected. On the drivers side the tool does seat properly so I guess if you only have to do the drivers side them this would work. I returned the tool and purchased a u shaped one to do the job. 3 stars as the tool looks nice and beefy but the description is wrong it will not work on 2011+
