Two wires power the LED, not associated with any switch, it needs 12VDC. This is a DPDT switch. There are 3 positions, center, turn to LEFT, and turn to RIGHT. In the center, each common in connected to its NC. When you turn the switch to the left(it stays, NOT momentary), the the left common is connected to the NO, and the right common stays connected to its NC. When you turn the switch to the right(it stays, NOT momentary), the right common is connected to its NO, and the LEFT's common to its NC. The switch is perfect. Not all the switches have all the options-- this switch has 8 wires, 2 for leds and three for each independent SPDT switch(2 spdt switches make a dpdt of course).

Not sure why it gives you the option for 2 power supplies. I guess there might be a few situations where you would want that... But how I hooked it up was the blue wires and the black to positive, white to negative, 1 green to 1 light, the other green to the other light. I did not use the reds. The reds also turn on with the corresponding green wires. So if you want the leds to only be on when the switch is on wire the reds to the black. Hope this helps someone with the lack of installation instructions.Other wise it's connected to power supply that my dimmer switch controls in my miata and it does dim a bit which is cool. Does feel way cheaper than expected. Looks better than it feels lol.

I had a touch button but the location on my boat when it got wet would turn it on. This is the perfect solution for my application. I did have to return to the Amazon product page to figure out how to wire it correctly. the instructions were kind of vague.

I put this on my harley-davidson tour control driving lights. When installing it, I noticed that there is no locking mechanism, it just pushs together. When you hit a bump in the road it kept coming undone. I used tape and shrink tube to hold it and it didn't help. They need a better design to keep both pieces together.

The red and blue wires are swapped. Red is common and blue is NO.Switch works good for low current circuits. Looks nice.
