Handle is very flimsy. Started leaking after first use as well. I used it for about 15 minutes intermittently. I should have purchased a name brand but I don't need a rotary hammer very often and didn't want the expense.

I already have a large scale version of this, or at least what most would call the "normal" sized version. It can be a bit intimidating, especially for jobs that need absolute precision. This smaller handheld hammer drill is a great "downsize" and helps me have better control on my drilling projects. The included bits fit snugly into the unit and the varying sizes allows for me to not only not worry about buying the wrong bits, but get much more accuracy when making holes for mounting. I have only needed the drill for mounting shelves into concrete, but plan to use this for smaller projects, too, specifically mounting holes for shade poles for my yard. I can work for longer without so much debilitating vibration and have an overall confidence when working on my own.

There are two major selling points for this hammer drill, both of which it accomplishes quite well so far: it's cordless and it accepts SDS Plus bits. Those key features alone make this a great find.I do a lot of building, and - consequently - I wind up fastening things into concrete rather regularly. Traditionally, I've been lugging around a rather large 120vac hammer drill, which works great...but it's just a bit cumbersome. And sometimes I don't have a source of power, which REALLY slows things down. This unit is packing a similar punch, and doing it all without the need for a cord tripping you up. I put it to the test drilling out 1/2" holes for wedge anchors on a project, and - while it's perhaps not quite as powerful as my other 120vac option - it still got the job done quite well. The head accepts any of my SDS Plus bits (is this even mentioned in the ad?) and has two settings for drilling with or without impact, both of which work as intended. It hooks up to any of my DeWalt batteries without issue as well, which is another big selling point on my end. It's rather lightweight, though the body and handles all seem well-designed and solid. (As I get older and more broken myself, I'm increasingly happy to find tools that weigh just a bit less...)Altogether, for the price point, this is definitely a good find. Time will tell how well it holds up, but - for occasional use - this seems like a winner to me!

I’ve used this a couple of times so far and so glad I have this , it works as it’s supposed to. Has two settings dril or hammer drill. I install carports to concrete and my drill bits would just burn up but using this it’s goes so much better and saves my expensive bits . It seems well enough made to last , I value having this

Moved to a new house that is literally all stucco and to even just hang up a house number sign on my wall I kept breaking my diamond drill bit on my normal drill. After researching realized I needed a hammer drill and wish I got one sooner!! Much better than my normal drill and cuts through my stucco like butter! Very happy with purchase!
