Let me start off by saying I Love Bosch power tools, that being said I purchased the Bosch Bulldog Hammer Drill to break up some concrete that was around my privacy fence post because the old one had seen it's better days. I figured by purchasing this tool I could save a little money and a lot of back pain. The first 2 days it worked just fine, mind you just breaking up 3 to 4 post a day, on the 3rd day it worked just fine for about 5 minutes and just stooped. Battery pack was showing fully charged. Go to Lowes and bought another 18v 4ah battery charged that battery up lasted another 5 minutes. So to make this long story short I have never had any problems with Bosch products but I had to give this one 2 stars because I now have a beautiful Hammerdrill just sitting in my garage collecting dust because it will not operate like it should.

Not exactly a hot knife through butter, but pretty close.I'd been using a hammer drill to drill through concrete. I didn't know how much time I was wasting until I used this - probably because rebar was holding me back - literally. I'd say this thing is 10 times faster than my previous hammer drill.The lesson here is, it pays to get good tools. Although it might seem expensive, this thing pays for itself within a few jobs.
