Romano pole bean, also known as Italian pole bean or flat bean, is a variety of bean with flat and wide pods. It is a popular ingredient in Italian cuisine and is known for its tender texture and rich flavor. Romano pole beans are typically grown on trellises or poles, hence their name. They can be eaten fresh, cooked, or canned.

I LOVE Romano beans. I planted a short row of these.... not one came up. It seems the birds ate them. I planted them inside, in little pots after moisturizing them in a moist paper towel. About 1/3 of the seeds came up. They have failed to thrive. They have been in the ground in excellent growing conditions. In the last month they have grown to a whopping 3 inches tall. I will call these tooth pick beans... not pole beans.

Out of thirty seeds planted I got eight plants. Slow to start but when they got going the plants are beautiful and looking very healthy. Bad side is, not a single bean, just leaves. Very disappointing.

The description says 100 pieces. You get instead a really tiny package, fewr than 50 very small seeds

Great green bean choice for those that love green beans. High quality firm beans, Extremely HIGH YIELDING when planted in appropriate soil, atmosphere, and location. Quick germinating, great value for the money. Highly recommended!!!

Ordered and planted right away, have been waiting for them to go up, nope, they are bush beans. Worst part is I have a cage over them, to keep the critters out, that they could go up thru to trellis. I had a few beans planted already so now I can't remove the cage and I can't get to the bush beans. Of course it took a bit over the 30 day return time to know this...

Growing leaves like crazy and looks great but not a single bloom or bean, very strange and they have been growing for 5 months!
