About this item

  • Beautiful - Large premium packet of Poblano Pepper (Capsicum annuum) seeds. 3-6" heart shaped peppers are mildly spicy. They are most often picked at a dark green and stuffed for chile rellenos. Fully ripened, they take a rust red color. Dried poblanos are called ancho chiles and are ground for flavorful chile powder. Minimum of 300mg per packet (about 50 seeds).
  • Productive - Peppers germinate in 14-28 days when soil temps are 75-85°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 24-36” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 24-30” tall with a spread of 12-18”. Peppers will mature in 65-80 days, plant in USDA zones 5-12.
  • Good Eats - Peppers are a favorite for their mild or hot flavor. Excellent for roasting, stuffing, or adding to salads and omelets. These are not only productive plants, but typically have lush foliage that looks great in gardens and in landscape beds.
  • Easy to Grow - Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will happily make it right for you.
  • Safe and Sustainable - Our operation is fully solar powered, and Sow Right Seeds has taken the Safe Seed Pledge to sell only fresh Non-GMO heirloom seeds for you and your family.

Grew very well in an Aerogarden farm. Is producing good size peppers that are quite tasty. But I would suggest only one plant on each side to others considering doing these in an Aerogarden. Also pruning is needed from time to time.

I’m an experienced gardener. Not a single seed germinated. Complete waste of money.

Seeds germinated with no issues, plants got to be at least 3 feet tall with hot jalapenos on them, I will be buying again in the spring.

I’m absolutely delighted with this brand. The seeds have consistently produced peppers, and I’m so fond of them that I’m planting them for the second year in a row. Highly recommended for anyone looking to grow their own peppers.
