First of all, I received the wrong item. I received a much smaller "wireless hutch" apparently from the same collection. Not only was it the wrong item, but it arrived badly damaged, dented and with the finish rubbed off on both front corners.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this purchase. It is compact, yet still functional. The cherry-colored finish on the wood is nice and rich looking. My only complaint is that mine had a chip on one corner of the wood. This isn't a product flaw, but rather a problem with the way it was shipped - it was tossed in a box with no wrap.

This is very handsome and very impressive. The style and overall look and construction of this Rolodex is great. The color is rich and It does not look cheap, as some that I have looked at. Has plenty of room for all my remotes plus the little pull out drawer.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a new desk organizer and must have sifted through a hundred designs. This one had everything I wanted; smaller size, has a small drawer, 2 pen holder compartments, a slot for letters, and a little shelf for post it notes. It was very reasonably priced and the quality is good. It is practical but not unattractive to look at. I am very pleased with it.

I bought this in conjunction with the Rolodex 23420 Wood Tones Desktop Sorter, Mahogany and they look great side by side! They make my counter top look so much neater and cleaner and I love the little drawer for keeping receipts and paper clips in. I've had this for maybe 6 months now and it has help up quite nicely. It's quite sturdy and I am very happy with this product.

The workmanship is average to below average. I have done wood crafting and expected better quality of materials and craftsmanship. It is clearly described as being made from faux leather and Mahogany wood and it indeed is. But it is very light weight and if it weren't for the tiny pads on the bottom, it would easily slide around. I wish it had been made from a thicker, heavier wood. The staining and finish could have been much better: small bubbles here and there, inconsistent staining and sanding. And the drawer is a very loose fit and light as a feather.On the positive side, from 2 feet away it looks really great. The design is very good and functional. It looks rich and goes well on a desk or next to the home phone. The price is very good. Given all that I would have paid twice as much for something more substantial. I would buy it again if I could not find something matching my expectations as described above.Note: I also bought the Rolodex Mahogany Woodtones Photo Frame Business Card file at the same time. The craftsmanship is much better. The fit and finish are what I expected. The wood is twice as thick, the action is tight and there is a satisfying "thunk" when you close the lid. Thicker wood, much better finish and a lot heavier get this 5 stars compared to 3 stars for the desk director.
