This stuff is the real deal. I had an issue with the septic tank backing up and was told by two different septic companies that I needed my drain field replaced, which is a costly affair well into the thousands.I didn't believe that was the solution as the drain field was fine in dry weather but not so much in the wet weather. I live in Florida, and we had just had pretty much a whole moth of afternoon rainstorms.I looked online for some help as I couldn't afford to have a new drain field installed, and the Roebic Drain and Leach Field Opener was highly recommended amongst other people with a similar problem. What I read was that the holes in the drain field become clogged with a sludge type of substance and that this product takes care of that and allows the drain field to work as intended, and I can tell it 100% does. I have used this for over a year now and not once have I had any problems with my septic system. It truly has saved me thousands of dollars.I use it 3-4 times a year and it is the best money I have ever spent.Fantastic product that works 100%. 10/10

I have had problems for years with slow drainage. There are only 2 of us living here and we have the septic tank pumped every 3 years after the drain field replacement. This time I had the tank drained and after it filled up I added all of this company's treatments for slow drains, main line cleaner and leach field opener. I followed all instructions. Now no matter how much water goes into the tank it never gets slow or backs up. I will continue to use these treatments every few months to keep the system working properly.

Older drain field was getting overwhelmed during big rainstorms. On a hunch I tried this product and worked better and faster than I had hoped for. Did it once again after a few months and will add this to my yearly routine.

Our drainfield was so dead we burned through a septic pump twice- it just never shut off trying to push water out there. We were constantly having backups into our basement. We had the lines cleared of tree roots thinking that would help but it didn't. The second time our pump died was our wake up call that our system was broken, and the guy told us "if this doesn't work you need a new drainfield." We were looking at a $30k mound system. I read a lot about this and Green Pig products and we decided we had nothing to lose. We stopped putting water down our system for about a week. Showered at the gym, used the toilet at the gas station, put buckets in the sink to wash hands and dishes and dumped it out side. While we did that, every day I dumped a bottle of this stuff and a packet of Green Pig down our lateral lines and prayed. I also dumped some in the tanks and down the toilet (once each). We slowly started using water again, taking short showers, turning the water off while soaping up, and using the toilet but only flushing brown. I kept adding these products, but increased the time between treatments to every other day, and then every few days. We tested the system with a load of laundry. I sat outside by our pump and hear it turn on. And then it turned back off! It worked! We slowly ramped our water usage back up to normal, and I kept going out to listen to the pump and it was working normally as it should. It's been over 6 months and everything is working great. I now treat our system on a monthly basis with half a bottle this stuff and one packet of Green Pig. A plumber I spoke to said it's all just bacteria, and you can't add too much, so I will probably continue to do so indefinitely. I don't ever want to be back in that situation of worrying about our system. That was a nightmare I'm so glad is over.

After being told we might have to have a new leach field costing thousands thought we’d try a more simple (and cheaper) option first. After only a few days it was working so much better. Will definitely use this as part of regular maintenance.

We had a puddle pop up in our yard that slowly got larger and started to smell like sewage. We called a septic company and insisted the only way to fix it was a $7,000 job to replace our entire drain field. Now, I can't tell you for sure if this stuff actually helped but I believe it did. We did the following things:1. Found 2 very slow leaks. One was in a toilet, the other was a faucet. We fixed those.2. We stopped washing our clothes at home and used the laundry mat and my mother in laws house for 8 weeks.3. We stopped flushing "urine" toilets. It was unpleasant but we wanted to help the drain field dry as much as we could.4. We used this stuff twice. Once after that quote and again 4 weeks later.5. We took low-water showers. In other words - get wet, cut the water off, soap up then cut it back on to rinse and get out. Sucked.6. We only used the dishwasher when it was full.7. Used a very large bowl in the kitchen sink for around 6 weeks that caught ALL the water. None went down the drain. I would dump it outside and place it back under the sink. So when I rinsed veggies or washed my hands that water fell into the bowl instead of down the sink.8. We washed our hands like our shower: getting your hands wet, cut the water off, scrub and then rinse. It took nearly 3 months but the spot has dried to the point where you can't tell it was there. The ground is not squishy at all anymore. Along with the measures mentioned above I think this stuff helped immensely. It seemed to dry faster about 2 weeks after each application. If I ever have another problem I'll be using this, otherwise I plan to make it part of our yearly maintenance routine for our home.

About this product solely on the reviews that I read with people claiming miracles that happen when using this stuff I believe I've had some results but not anything mind-blowing miracle level kind of stuff however it is now winter so everything is freezing up out there it is difficult to tell but there's still an issue with the odor from our septic and also I have used eight bottles of this stuff now in a matter of approximately 4 months so just beware that you will probably need more than one bottle of it that's what some other people had said too and I found that to be true I don't know how it works because I can't obviously see down in the septic to tell but I know it's done something and helped out I'm just not sure how much I would buy some more but every time I look it seems like the price is going up on it and it gets pretty expensive for such a small amount of product I think otherwise seems good I would recommend it.
