I tried another product to no avail. But bought this, followed the directions - and, after two scoops (following directions, with hot water), the problem was solved! Really good product that does exactly what you want. A+!

Outstanding product! Put 3 scoops into a shower drain that was chronically stopping despite many attempts with a snake. Added a bit of hot water. Four hours later it was running like brand new!

It didn’t help with our clogged kitchen sink. We left the solution for half an hour as directed, but we only seen a little bit of improvement but not fully functional yet.

Oh. My. God. This powder is awesome! It unclogged a toilet that had already resisted plunging, baking soda & vinegar, dish detergent, and the liquid Green Gobbler.To be fair, the liquid GG helped some, but I was about to give in and call the plumber when I saw reviews for the GG powder pacs. Poured in 2 packets and waited overnight as instructed. When the toilet fully flushed, I cheered.Instead of snaking our bathroom sink like I usually do, I tried a GG powder pac on that, too. Poured in 2 cups hot tap water as instructed. An hour later, I flushed the sink again with hot tap water, and it drains fast again. Yahoo! This stuff is fantastic!

Over the past month, I've experienced about a half inch of standing water in my tub by the end of a shower. This drained quickly off once finished but it was new to me after residing in my home of 5 years and consistent with each shower. I did some research and found this product. Most recent reviews were positive so I decided to give it a shot. Product arrived quickly and as advertised. My box had 5 packets with 5 snake sticks. I applied the first packet as instructed, following notes closely. The moment I poured boiling water in after waiting 30 minutes was a giant sulphuric slap in the face. Not only did the odor come on quickly and with an intensity I was not prepared for, it quickly permeated the entire house. All 1100 Sq ft of it. What's worse is that the water appeared to be draining even slower than before application. As suggested on package, I attempted a second application once the water finally receded, this time with plans to leave it overnight. I closed the door and tried going to bed but woke after 2 hours to the worst chemical smells imaginable and decided I couldn't wait any longer. I repeated the steps with boiling water only to realize that now no water could pass through the drain at all. 4 hours later, the water level in my tub had still not changed. The snake sticks provided were not long enough to reach down towards the trap so for me, they provided no help. I eventually called a plumber and 12 hours following the first application (plus $229 later), I finally had a clear drain. I watched what was excavated by the professional electric snake used by my plumber- the obstruction was fairly minimal and typical hair plus soap scum. It's possible that this product does work for some but that was certainly not my experience. I'd also add that my tub is old cast-iron with an enamel coating. Even with being extremely careful to clear any remaining product from the tub and drain, it was impossible to avoid some settling once everything backed up into the tub. Luckily for me, this just meant a bit of yellowing around the tub drain once all was said and done. I plan to try a magic eraser on it later in hopes of lightening this. The result on my tub was certainly not as damaging as some of the images I've now seen but it should be noted depending on the type of finish yours has. I would definitely proceed with caution.

My kitchen sink had been running slow for a while, I used the pre-mixed liquid and it only got better for a while for a few days and then it's slow again. So this time, I decided to give the powder packages a try, because why not. Poured 2 packages down the drain, added in some boiling hot water and left it overnight. The next morning, poured a huge pot of boiling water down the drain and wow it had never drained that fast before. The smell was super nasty at first, but that's how I knew it worked and dissolved all the nasty gunk inside the drain. I think the powder worked so well was because it stayed in the drain longer, thus dissolved more gunk, as opposed to going straight through in the blink of an eye and doing nothing. I will only use this from now on for sure.

I didn’t know what to expect. As all other products state say the same. So I watched a YouTube link to see how good it is..... well this product is 110% great you poor the sashay down the blocked sink and leave it for a few hours.. depending on how blocked your system is.Drainage system is now 110% clear.Great product....
