I bought this for something to sit on in the home studio, and I'm impressed. This is definitely a professional grade throne. The hardware is heavy and durable, and the cushion is dense and thick. I'm a bigger guy at 255lbs, and I'm not at all concerned about this not being able to support my weight. It's also comfortable to sit on. This is well made and will last me years. Don't cheap out on a throne, because you'll have to replace it a lot sooner than this one.

I love this throne. I original bought the one that swivels but it became very annoying so I bought this one that doesn't swivels.Both thrones are well made. I am very impressed. However, I got tired of the swivel as this moves so easily that it became annoying to me but that's just me. I like the non-swivel better.I highly recommend these thrones. They are so comfortable!

Edit: Up'd the rating from 2 to 4 stars after receiving wonderful service and turnaround time from Roc-n-Soc.This throne replaced the seat included in an inexpensive Donner edrum set, the RocnSoc costing almost half the cost of my drum set.For the last three months, it has been a great purchase, super comfortable and supportive. I am 64 years old, and a little over 200#, but don't really spend more than a few hours or so at most playing my set.It was obviously superior to my edrum set seat, and I was set. The thing is heavy and seems to be built like a tank.I just sat down to play a little bit, and imagine my suprise, when a leg fastener snapped off, sending me to the ground. I know have a little rotator cuff pain and some scrapes from the unexpected landing.Really, REALLY disappointed in the durability of this product. I'm not sure how to get this repaired, but I would strongly recommend that anyone planning to use this for rock drumming on any regular basis LOOK ELSEWHERE for a better seat.Sigh.

Cumplio totalmente mis expectativas, la compra la eh realizado por recomendación de un Baterista profesional y no me arrepiento de haberlo tomado en cuenta, este trono es muy muy comodo ya era un martirio usar mi trono genérico anterior , este nuevo trono lo recomiendo ampliamente llegó en tiempo y forma asiento súper agradable, su eje o herraje para sostenerlo es muy robusto incluso se calza pesado te da la satisfacción que dándole un buen uso tendras trono para rato

When you’re ready to reward yourself and your seat deserves a treat, THIS IS THE THRONE WHAT YOU WANT!Don’t substitute with a knockoff or cut rate version. This is well worth the money and you feel it before you even open the box. Nice and weighty but NOT heavy. Solid. Sturdy. COMFORTABLE! It arrived exactly when expected (2days Fri-Mon) and was assembled in 2 steps......3 if you don’t want the seat to swivell while you play (I have the original spin version). I’ve had it for two weeks now and absolutely LOVE it!! Comparatively, I happened to be in a brick and mortar music store (can’t give up supporting those places) and sat on a Pearl something or other, (I was there to test high hats so I wasn’t paying attention to the seat), but DID notice it had memory foam. You can tell right when you sit on it, that slow compression. It was comfy at first but I noticed it continued to compress, even after a few minutes it felt as if I were still slowly sinking into the throne. That DOES NOT happen with this Roc n Soc! Very stable. No more creeking and swaying. No more needing to break early and get off my sore keister from the Dixon. This throne is a DREAM.
