The product information states the seat has: 5 adjustable seat heights 17.5" to 25". This seat only goes up to 18.5". I have to send it back and look for a new seat.

It's a good starter throne for a Jr. Drummer.

My 45lb daughter just used it for the first time. Worked well, comfortable. On the light side but good for a beginner.

I needed this for my son who's about to turn 3. At the lowest bolt, the chair is just under 12" high, which was still too high for what I wanted. Without the bolt, the seat post protrudes down lower than the feet, making the chair tip sideways. I chopped off about an inch from the seat post, and now without a bolt the chair is at around 11 1/4". The chair is also sturdy enough for an adult to sit on. If you don't mind doing some cutting, this chair is a good option for aspiring toddler drummers. I had a hard time finding something that wasn't a toy, and this was the most affordable thing I was able to find.
