The price is unbeatable but you get what you pay for. These are not machined well. The metal is soft.I was actually expecting these to be higher quality. They'll countersink your screw heads but not for long.If you are a professional these are NOT for you. Home owner drilling 10 holes they'll work. If your looking to countersink 500 screws on your deck forget it.

They are made with the worst metal, look like they have been in a rock tumbler, and are unevenly cut. Other than that, they are great. ;-)

It's exactly what I expected. On time and in good shape. Works well. Thanks

I honestly don't know what would differentiate a good countersink bit versus a bad countersink bit, other than just not doing what it's supposed to.I am happy to report that these bits work extremely well (I've only used them on wood), and are very easy to control. You will no have problems with runaway holes or over-sunk cavities.I did notice that sometimes the bit caused minor fiber fraying in the wood, but nothing that wasn't fixed by 5 seconds with 120grit.

Very useful when gluing/screwing 2 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood together. When you need to clean out the pilot holes, where the boards meet, this is just the ticket. You need to clean up the pilot hole tearout or the sheets of plywood will not mate correctly.

Eh, these countersinks are just ok. They are not very sharp, but get the job done somewhat acceptably. I will not buy again when my current ones wear out (which isn't going to be too long).
