The cat has various sizes which is pretty cool. And they all did their job. I did two rooms of vinyl flooring and I had to lay new subflooring. What didn't last was the Phillips bits included in the kit. The metal is a little soft . I went back to my Makita but I was using before to finish the second floor.

Counter sinks are very dull. I tried using two different sizes and return them would not recommend them.

I bought this set because I was tired of dealing with rough screw holes ruining my woodworking projects. Let me tell you, this set has changed the game! The M2 Cobalt HSS makes these bits tough, and the adjustable depth stop means I get perfect, clean countersinks every time. If you love woodworking, this is a must-have in your toolkit.

I got this for use in my wood shop for furniture making. I mostly work with live edge slabs and rough sawn lumber. I have my own custom furniture line. This kit makes it easy to sink and hide screws. The case is nice and helps keep it all together.I think its a good deal for the price.

Nice little kit for countersinks and cutting plugs, however the pieces have a terrible time getting back into the case, and the plug cutters are just not sharp enough to get a good bite into the wood to cut an undamaged plug. The taper of the countersink is nice, and they drill fine holes, just be sure to tighten them before use, as mine slipped and I marred a project I wish I hadn't, it wasn't the bits fault, I should have checked it prior to using them on something of that caliber.

For those that like to countersink holes, this is a great set to have. Having multiple bits with different diameters and lengths is very helpful and convenient. Instead of using one, then trying to adjust it up or down, I have a nice set where I can just pick which one I need. They are sharp and drilled into wood just fine with very little burring. For the bit that cuts plugs, they do the job. I will need some practice to get the bit started into the wood but once they start it cuts very well. Glad to have this set it works great. I hope this was helpful.

For homeowners and other occasional use, this is a handy countersink and plug cutter set. The quality is good, but it isn’t really a professional quality set for everyday use by a carpenter. I expect that it will hold up just fine for my needs. An odd job here and there. The bits are strong and sharp. The size range is good for most commonly encountered tasks in my shop. I like that everything is organized in a hard plastic case. It makes it easy to find the right size quickly. Plus, it keeps all of the parts together, rather than scattered in the bottom of my toolbox or a drawer. Adjusting the depth is a snap with the included Allen wrench. It works well all the way around. I am glad that I have this set ready to go when the need pops-up. I would say that this countersink and plug cutter set is a very good value.

These bits are excellent for countersinking screws into woodworking projects and fabricating plugs to cover the holes. The wood plug cutters are the tapered type, which do not burn the wood contact surface like the straight ones. These are best used in a drill press instead of a hand drill. This set comes in a convenient storage case to keep these together. I often misplace bits which are loose, so this is a nice feature. There are some empty slots, which I first thought might be missing pieces; that is not the case. There needs to be room for the width of some of the plug cutters, do that explains why some slots are empty. The 15-piece count includes the 2 extra drill bits, the Allen wrench, and the case. The drill tips and cutting blade edges are extremely sharp, so be very careful handling them when removing from the case. It can be difficult to put the bits back into the slots. To put the bits back into the case, I found it’s easiest to insert the shank into the base of each slot, then pushing on side of the bit to pivot into the slots. This also avoids getting cuts by the sharp edges. There are only 4 plug cutters, but 5 countersink bits. The smallest plug cutter can be used for holes on the 2 smallest bits, which are very close in diameter. So long as you remember to line up the wood grain in the plug with the surface being covered, the plug should blend into the wood where it won't be easily noticed. The quality of the metal used to manufacture these bits and plug cutters is some of the finest in the industry. These should maintain the sharp edges for a long time if used properly.
