Got it for my wife, it's light weight and easy to use. Clamp not large enough to hold on frame of walker, she hooks handle on top to keep it handy, works great.

I am recovering from abdominal surgery so I can't bend to pick things up off the floor. My OT nurse suggested these so I bought 3 -upstairs bedroom, laundry room and living room. I will be buying a few more along with the shorter ones. I picked up a single napkin, a hair tie, moved my clothes from washer to dryer. Just an outstanding product!

Excellent grabber- can use for anything high or low.Am on a walker- fits nicely on it . Perfect for picking up whatever I drop. Will use later for high items. A neighbor uses hers to pick up debris in the yard.

Grippy, strong, simple mechanics. Some damage may be repaired by some users themselves.

I needed the reach these provide but they don't hang on to much. Very weak grip. I reach out to pull my wheelchair over where I can use it but the grabber is not strong enough to pull it. The grabber pulls away from the chair.

I have two perfect pick up sticks from my days as a therapist and wanted a third to have one in every room. This one is nearly as good but the distance between the handle and the trigger is greater than my hand span, web space to fingers, can manage comfortably so it is less comfortable and less usable than the others and I know I will tend to use the others more because of this.I have a size seven hand. The ergonomics of hand size should surely be a factor when designing such a product and this would be unusable for anyone with smaller hands than mine, and barely by anyone with hands the same size. So sadly, if your hand size is less than a seven you might not be able to use it or you might need to think of some way to adapt it, I haven't worked out how to do that yet.In every other way this is a great product but if I can't manage the mechanism because of poor design it's a bit pointless.

This reacher is lighter than I expected (just now noticed it's listed as "featherweight) but seems sturdy enough. Bought as a backup for 15-year old item. This one cannot be collapsed for transport but it does have a clip for attachment (to a walker, I suppose) and it has a magnetic end which could come in handy although its not a strong magnetic connection. Not sure that it will pick up heavier items as my old one does - like books - but I'm satisfied with the product. I did appreciate that the reacher was attached to the cardboard with elastic fixtures rather than with zip-ties which are so hard for artheritic hands to remove.Amazon over-packaged as usual : 30x7x6-inch box for a 27x5x0.5-inch item. Ordered several items at same time; all came shipped separately. Amazon used to offer to send items together when possible even if it meant a shipping delay of a day or two. That practice would be better for the environment - less shipping, less recycling.

This is a great tool but handy to remember that 70cm requires some bending.Great grip though and well built
