We have an old beat-up 2007 Ford Taurus sedan. The door locks are electric. Even the KEY just pushes a switch to unlock using the electric locks.SO guess what happens when the battery is dead?We cannot open the doors to pop the hood the charge the battery or jump-start the car!So I bought this to allow us to open the car when the battery is dead.

This is a variation of the other pickup/grabber tools that I own and I can see the practicality and usefulness of its design. The adjustable loop circumference is approximately 7.5ā, and 2.4ā in diameter. The loop makes it easy to locate objects in some circumstances and the pulling tension tightly secures the targeted object. This is not a bad lockout tool for older vehicles, but the length is limited to 23.6ā as stated in the specifications. Iām sure to encounter other scenarios where this will be an ideal solution.

Great when your car has knob to poll up to unlock it. And the cars power locks are shut down. Or battery is dead on car.
