They sticks are sturdy once they are attached to the tree. When putting up the second stick it tends to flex and pull away from the tree. Since the strap secures only the top of the stick the only thing securing the stick is 6” inside the lower stick. I would personally only uses the for a permanent stand and wouldn’t work for walking in for a night. Way to big, clunk, loud and would be scary putting up in the dark.

Nice product.. Would be outstanding if they came with quality tree straps. Its my opining that all ladder sticks should come with ratchet straps in a ten foot length. They would have a 5 star if I didn't have to go out and spend more money to even use them.. (Fast delivery, Box opened and banged up, But nothing wrong with the contents inside)
