We bought these for an indoor climbing wall for our kids. They were easy to install and look like real rocks! They come in a variety of shapes, and have a nice texture for gripping, making them both functional and fun. The quality is great, kids and adults have climbed multiple times over the last few months and the rocks have held up beautifully. Ages 4-65 have used these and enjoyed the experience! The rocks are a great addition to our play area. They came with a little bit of a smell and left gray dust on our socks for the first few climbs, but that all goes away with time and use. They are a great value, I would recommend this product.

These have been working great so far, my kids love the climbing wall to their play room. Wood backing is required behind each hold and the screws look like eyes in the holds. My wall has had lots of use between kids and friends and I’ve had no issues with the holds. The holds do darken with the oils from peoples hands, but they can still hold me and I’m 220 lbs. Great for anyone wanting to build a wall.

Made a rock climbing wall for the kids but these are large enough for adults to use too. Best I could find for quality and price. Good variety in each box (I bought two), some are challenging however the majority (Roughly 7 easy : 1 hard ratio) are easy to grip. Personally I used the challenging ones down low for foot holds to make it easier on the kids.

I bought the larger box of 50 which easily filled a 4x6 area for the swingset, (I probably only needed half that amount). There is a great texture to these and I like the natural color. They appear to be made out of a bondo like material or some fiber resin so don't over tighten the screws. There's a good variety of holds i just with they would include some larger and smaller ones as they're all about palm size.

Got these for a climbing wall we built in our basement. I didn’t want the primary color grips that are sold every where. These are super cool. Very realistic. Great texture, easy to install, all the good things. Worth the money.

Built a climbing wall for my kids. These holds are perfectly sized. Not too easy and not too hard. I’m 200 pounds and I use the wall all the time. The holds are super sturdy. Great product.

I love the holds, but prefer the bolt on vs these screw on. I bought a bunch of each, and installed them on a couple of beech trees on my property. Both were very sturdy and have a great texture. Installation of the bolt on holds was faster and easier. I thought the screw on holds would be less likely to rotate, and they are, but the bolt on holds won't rotate either after my installation. I've maintained climbing walls before and know you have to retighten the holds annually. I installed both styles of holds with some silicone behind them to compensate for irregularities in the tree surface. I feel very sure about their fastness, with no concern for needed maintenance. Both are great holds, but from my perspective bolt on beats screw on.A great feature is that these are so natural looking they disappear in nature. My project was in the forest and the holds are virtually invisible.

Long delivery time (as advertised) and the holds were literally just put into a USPS box with absolutely no packaging. The mailman handed the mangled box to me laughing and asked, “what’s in there? A box of rocks?”But very happy with the realistic looking rocks, variety of medium to large size holds, and at a great price!

Colour is lighter than the picture shows but these are great. Heavy duty. We used just less than 50 on my son’s bedroom wall. Through drywall and straight into the studs. Used #10 3” screws and they hold my 230lb husband no problem.We soaked the rocks in warm water and dish soap to lessen the smell.

Overall these appear to be very good quality holds. The reason for the lower rating is the misleading naming for the product. These holds are no "larger" than the company's standard holds sold in another listing as "25 Screw on Climbing Holds". I purchased both sets expecting to get a variety of sizes as a result but was poorly surprised to find both orders contained the same size holds. Additionally, these holds cost more per hold than if I'd purchased two orders of the other listing.Beyond this misleading advertising and being overcharged a bit, I believe these holds will perform very well for their intended purpose and look forward to testing them out. I will update this review once I have installed them on my outdoor playground climbing wall.

I used these holds to build a climbing wall on a large tree in my back yard for my 6 year old and 9 year old daughters. They are perfect for the application - they go on easy, are strong and realistic in appearance, and provide a variety of hold types and sizes that both kids and adults can grab a hold on. I bought 100 of them, and am 100% satisfied. I will use these again on my next climbing wall project

I was nervous to purchase these because I wanted them for a children's gym, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I got them. The holds are big enough to be realistic for an older kid, but small enough and varied enough to make things a bit challenging.They look like authentic rocks. The kids think they are way cooler than those regular colored kiddie rocks. They are easy to install. I might have to buy a few more though since the wall turned out so great.
