I am just beginning woodworking as a hobby....and can use all the helpful devices I can find. This is a simple, well made tool...and even a novice can get great results. Plenty of clamping power, and wide enough faces that work material is held firmly. Good item, I am happy with this purchase

When I am putting the sides of a cabinet together with mitered joints at a right angle, this clamp is perfect. It is not always easy to get them glued together just right and held fast and these clamps do the trick. They have really helped me get the angle just right.

I wish these were half an inch bigger, then you could use dimensional lumber without having to rip it. But for picture frames and the like three are pretty handy. The build quality is decent.

The Right Angle Wood Clamp is well-made, with good quality materials that feel durable and reliable. It looks like it could be incredibly useful for woodworking projects, especially for holding pieces at precise angles. However, I’ve yet to find a situation where I actually need to use it. It seems like a tool with specific applications, but unless you’re working on projects that require perfectly aligned corners, it might sit idle. A great tool for those who know how to make the most of it, but it’s not quite essential for me—at least not yet!

These BUILDSOMETHING Right Angle Wood Clamps are suitable for light-duty work ONLY. In my opinion they are suitable for amateur hobbyists who are constructing picture frames and other creations that do not have extremely precise tolerances. My main issue with these clamps is the lack of any mechanism to prevent twist or slippage when applying clamping force to a project. It's important to secure and stabilize all sides of a joint during the bonding process, and without adequate stabilizers that is simply impossible. The more force one applies to a joint, the more the joint will twist and/or "ride up" within the clamp itself. If you are seeking a tool for light hobby work, these could be the answer for you. However, if you are a professional woodworker, I advise you to look elsewhere.Recommended, but for amateur woodworkers only..

Got these hoping they would be an improvement over my old Craftsman corner clamps, which are always difficult to tighten and constantly losing their clamp foot. They LOOK like they ought to be better and the finish is certainly an improvement...but, alas, they have the same issue as all of the clamps of this style. It is impossible to keep the stock from twisting slightly as the clamp is tightened - The clamping foot appears to be tilting a bit as more torque is applied, since the screw is not on the same axis as the clamping foot. Lift + torque = twist.Additionally, the lack of a sharp internal corner makes it difficult to get the pieces aligned on the first try.If you want perfect results using these clamps, you can invariably expect to have to 1) have to fiddle around with the positioning of the pieces and then 2) to put an additional clamp (I used a Kant-Twist with some HDPE pads) to force the stock to align in the face/back direction.
