I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I am impressed with the quality feel of this item. Seems to be made well and feels professional. I've only used it a couple times but was amazed how well it performed. Strong suction. The parts fit inside the unit on the sides so everything is all in one. It reminds me of a tool box and by the way it holds all the accessories, it acts like a tool box also. Sound level feels about the same as any similar Shop Vac, not horrible loud, not whisper quiet. I expect to get many years of use from this Shop Vac. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Bought that vac for cleaning/detailing interiors of our cars in July 2024. Great performance equipment, can’t say anything better. However, hose assembly felt apart and I addressed this issue to a support. I was told it is a warranty replaceable part so Ridgid will replace it for me. Great tool and great service, highly recommend.

Seemed a good enough little shop vac, but did notice shortly after purchasing that the switch was a little finicky. As in, it had to be in a certain position (just shy of all the way on) in order to make the connection.Well, today it died. After a year and a half of normal usage. Used it, turned it off, went to turn it back on and nothing. Going to be replacing with a different brand because I didn’t get the two-year protection plan (at an additional charge, of course) because if you make a quality product it shouldn’t die in less than two years. So obviously not a quality product.

This vacuum is perfect for mobile detailing and probably many other things, especially with it being rectangular portability is 10/10.Everything about this is great, but the hose is expandable, which means when you are using it for anything more than 3 feet away, it does become a hassle. Really I love the hose material though. I’d definitely recommend getting a longer hose.

I'm a trucker and bought this to put in my rig, to help keep the cabin clean. It works great, have had zero problems with the unit or included items. Others have commented the hose is a bit short, and it does seem to be, if I were trying to maintain a larger space than just my truck's cab and sleeper I would probably need to move the unit during operation, but for my purposes it's perfect. the toolbox design let it fit under my bed so it stores away neatly, which other more vacuums that are taller or more round cannot do.

Why did I mess with the round canisters from the Home Improvement Stores? This is a much better vacuum in so many respects. The attachments go into compartments except for the wand extension that has attachments on the canister. The canister is square and much easier to store, also serves as a stool and seat.. Further, there are no need for rollers, just drag it around. cord is good length. The hose takes some getting used to. is compacts nicely which means under full suction it might fold up on itself a bit and not stretch as much as desired some time, but still not the problem of the round canister types. I highly recommend this!

Ridgid vend des produit de qualité. Cet aspirateur est très performant, bonne succion, facile à transporter. Les accessoires sont de bonne qualité et le rangement est très pratique. Il reste son utilisation à long terme.Petit bémol, il aurait été plus pratique de l’avoir sur roulette.Sinon très satisfait en plus de leur excellente garantie à vie déjà expérimenté dans le passé.

I am really happy with this vacuum. I am in remodeling and keeping clients' homes clean is top priority. I've been using this vac for over a month now and it's become my go-to vac. Super compact and everything gets stored inside the vac so all the attachments don't fall off of it and get lost. Its as powerful as my bigger vacs but WAY easier to carry from job to job and minuvor around on jobs. One of my favorite features is the air flow control - which I thought was a gimmick when reading about it - but it's awesome. From someone who has gone through a lot to shop vacs, I would recommend this above any others.* My reason for only giving 4 stars is the hose that comes with it is a little limited. I can get to most everything with the hose and the two extensions but getting things up high or on top on shelves/refrigerators/etc you have to hold the vac in your hand. Also, there's no storage for any additional attachments. Neither are deal breakers for me. I just bought a longer hose and grabbed a tool bag that was laying around and threw the hose and extra attachments in it.
