Great attachment for vacuuming the car! Just like the vacuums at car washes, it functions both as a crevice tool and carpet tool. Solid heavy duty plastic feels like it’ll last a long time. My Shop Vac hose is angled, so when I use this angled tool, it has to be mounted “upside down” when you need to get into tight spaces like under the gas/brake pedals. Works great that way.

My Shop-Vac did not come with an attachment like this, and I really wanted one for when I vacuum my car. I carefully measured my Shop-Vac hose to make sure this would fit (according to the listing) but was still a bit nervous that it might not.However, I didn't need to be nervous - the listing was correct and this fits nicely. Not only that, I am very happy with how it functions. Right after it arrived, I came home with a bunch of landscaping rocks in my trunk, which left behind lots of grit and pebbles. I grabbed the Shop-Vac with this attachment and it made short work of removing all the rubble! My trunk was as good as clean. I am so glad I took the chance and ordered this attachment.

This attachment works great for vacuuming the floor in the car. It doesn't get caught like other attachments like the gulpers do, and helps to stir the carpet and get the rocks and dirt that get embedded. I wish it had a larger opening to the vac hose but the ones I see like that become unwieldy in tight spaces and are too big to hold for most hands. I do like that it comes with its own adapter for larger hoses, which is really just a piece of flexible rubber but it slips onto larger hoses easily and forms a nice seal. You just have to be mindful that there's a collar on this claw and you have to insert it all the way up to there in order to get it to hold on tight. Once you do that it still has a good seal but will rotate within the sleeve to make going around corners easier.
