Easy to use; connect HDMI cable from Shaw/Rogers Sat box; connect Coax Cable leading to older TV ; Plug in supplied power cord and it worked.

Easy to set up. Worked pretty good. Picture is grainy. I put a booster on it that helped. Needs a little bit more power in the RF output.

Tried using this to make SD content be in actual 4:3 on my CRT. It does have plenty of adjustment for size and zoom (which is more than you can say for other cheap analog video converters), but the picture quality is hot garbage. If you turn up the brightness to a viewable level it starts to get washed out and still isn't bright enough. The other issue is that picture quality is inconsistent. Depending on the scene, the picture would get brighter or darker and the colors would slightly change hue. This thing just really is not good. I don't recommend buying it unless you're dead set on getting something that is cheap and allows adjusting picture size, and you don't care about picture quality. I sent that thing right back.

I like to really test out certain products before reviewing so I've been using this daily for 8 months now on an old 80's tv with no issues. I love the remote b/c for older tv's you have to play a bit with the size etc. which is easily done and I really have not had to adjust since. I have it connected to my firestick the picture is clear. I'm really happy my perfectly good old tv got an extended life.

I purchased this to hook up an older TV that had only a coaxial cable input. It was easy to install and worked perfectly right out of the box. It has a very good picture and audio and saved me from having to purchase a new TV.

Purchased for an old analogue TV. Worked with a bit of fiddling, but it did work.No longer using as we have replaced the kitchen TV with a digital TV.

Just received and installed. Connected to an old Sony TV from the 1990s that still works. Easily converted from HDMI 1k source to coax cable. Tested with multiple streaming devices, including Roku Ultra, NVIDIA Shield Pro, and Amazon Fire Cube.Hopefully will work reliably. The Sony is in the family room and is rarely used. We should probably replace with a LED, but this unit makes the Sony useable since we finally cut the cord on cable TV. What's the point of cutting cable if you spend more money on replacement technology? This device fits perfectly if you want to save money on an occasionally used TV. If you're using the old TV regularly, then spend the extra money and get a new LED TV since the power savings should justify the expenditure.

Easy to connect and works right out of the box. Have not figured out how to use the remote which comes with it, but I have not needed to use is. The converter allows me to hook up my DVD recorder to the TV broadcast signal carried on the HDMI cable and record a program. At a cost of $50 Canadian dollars it is a bit expensive but it does the job and that is what counts.

I have had this for a while. I have an old treadmill with a built-in tv which uses a coax connection. I bought a firestick and needed a way to connect it up to the coaxial connection on the treadmill. This worked perfectly.I really don't understand the negative reviews but if you have a similar requirement, buy it. Setup is easy. Plug the HDMI device or cable into the HDMI port. Connect it to your coax port. Plug it in and you have a tv picture. Supplied remote is useful to tweak the picture. I liked mine zoomed in a little.Pros------Durable, I have had mine over a year, and it is still going strongEasy to setupAllow you to continue to use old coaxial devicesCons------Picture could be a little clearer, but I don't think that is an issue with the converter. It is just the nature of the beast.

The devise worked on my old Mitsubishi TV. But unfortunately, when connecting the Fire-TV Stick after a few minutes of browsing or streaming the devise gets overheated, which then causes it to continuously disconnect/restart.Just to be sure, I connected a Google Chromecast HDMI devise and it was doing the same thing. Definitely was not worth purchasing for the listed prices, because I expected a greater quality. So disappointed!
