I wasted a couple hours on this because I always question myself but this thing is just not good. The blurry pic is though modulator and the clearer pic is a straight HDMI cable.

You might say "well, yeah, poor quality, what did you expect?"I expected a picture free of ghosting. This modulator seems to be poorly engineered to the point that the video image interferes with itself -- suggesting internal crosstalk in the circuit design, presumably from inadequate shielding. This is true whether using the HDMI input or composite.Also does not appear to support the USA over-the-air UHF channel plan, only VHF, which overlaps with the CATV plan.
