I really appreciate with Revopoint is doing in the industry. They're taking products that were formerly out of reach for the consumer, and making them available to us.The bars are 20cm in length by 12mm wide. Their design is to give a set of reference points to ensure consistent targeting of the object for scanning. The edge of the bars are matte, and the center sections are a thick black sticker that is more reflective. This sticker surface shows fingerprints, and also is wavy along the bars and not well adhered to the bar. I don't think the sticker issues impact the goal, but they're a cosmetic issue that may disappoint some users. The bars are compatible with the Revopoint turntable, and attach snug to the top. The bars have a standard 1/4" thread on them that matches most consumer photography equipment, which makes them even more useful for unique setups by bringing in another photography arm to provide the consistent frame of reference when scanning. This is a very cool product, and I'm excited to have these as part of my 3d scanning workflow!

these are quite literally just 4 half circles with some preapplied marker stickers, and a magnet at the base. While they're good for helping with freehand scans, I never found the revopoint scanners to be good at it, even with the gimbal accessory. This has helped at least maintain more consistent coordination, but for the current price of 60, I think its too much to ask for

These marker bars come with the 4 bars and marker stickers that you have to attach yourself. They have the thread on the base that is compatible with the large turntable they sell and has a female thread on top so you can stack them. They help a bit more for stabilizing the scan, since I found the turntable markers alone were usually not enough to stabilize the scan (needs 5-9 markers visible to stabilize) and these markers need to follow the object as it rotatesThe bars are made of metal so you can attach things magnetically to themCurrently they go for seventy dollars, which I think is far too much for 4 black bars you could make yourself.68
