Was rather excited to try spinning, so I ordered what looked like a decent one to start with. Wanted to get one that was nice so I didn't have to immediately upgrade. Will admit that the whorl looks nice and it's well balanced, but the rod of the spool was all cracked and splintered. With care it works for now, but when I'm no longer doing park and draft, I'll have to get a better one.

This is a beautiful spindle. Very well balanced and the stain and color of the spindle is quite lovely. Hadn’t spun in a long time and this brought everything back all at once. Well crafted product
