My experience has been wonderful. It came fully functional right out of the box. It's clearly 3d printed (not necessarily a negative) with a very good quality on the prints. It's technically my first "wheel" (hard to call it a wheel when it doesn't have a big one) but I didn't even need an instruction book to get it going.Which was good; one of the few negative points was the lack of any kind of manual (I'll be looking up how to maintain it online, apparently) or any way to acquire an online version, like a QR code leading to a PDF. It's fortunate I've used hand-spindles for twenty years and know about things like the difference between S twist and Z twist, and I was able to figure out that the little side switch was for that and not a power switch (that'll be the knob on the side that also controls speed) The other negative point is the length of the power cord. An extension cord is recommended if you want to spin more than three feet away from the nearest outlet.That said, I will recommend this model to most of the people I know. It's an excellent product.

This is a chinese cheaply factory-made knockoff of an American Handmade High-Performance Electric Spinning Wheel. Clearly whoever copied the design doesn't understand a thing about these sorts of machines and as such the quality is extremely poor.
