One controller does not work bat all and it overheats if batteries are left in it. Very disappointed.

We got this retro game console for our cabin, and it’s been a huge hit with guests of all ages! It’s perfect for playing old classics like Street Fighter. The setup was quick and easy, and the variety of games included ensures there’s something for everyone. The controls use 2 triple A batteries. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a retro gaming experience!

EDIT: There is a way to save! And I confirmed it works even after power cycles. Hit both select and start on the controller at the same time. Then click "Save State". You can quit after that. When you want to resume your place, open the game and this time select "Load State". Easy as that!Really easy to use and has a great selection of games. Really happy that you get two controllers with it too! Only downside is no saving, but if you're just looking for some easy pickup and play retro gaming, this is an awesome deal. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to set this up today! Easy set up.. plug it in, put batteries in the controller and you're all set! I introduced my 6 year old to classic super mario and we had a blast! The only downside, which is significant enough to regret the purchase? Battery life. We went out and bought brand new energizer batteries and only got 15 minutes of play time before they died. I even bought extra batteries because I knew we would spend a lot of time playing- but if the batteries dies midgame, you can't switch them out and continue playing. You have to unplug the power cord and lose g ame progress. :-(
