Same visual style as thread gauges with captive steel nuts, but the threads are just in the aluminum plate instead. Aluminum threaded versions can be found for about half the cost. The aluminum threads wear out if you use them a lot, and only the studs are stainless on this, not the nuts. Very disappointed. Would not recommend at this price.

Very well made. Very well anodized and etched . It has an excellent range in sizes, so much so that I'm taking the one I have in my shop, putting it in my garage and installing this instead. It has sizes more apt to be used in industrial applications large and small. These are heavy duty and should last a long time in industrial settings. Totally worth it for a home shop also. Either way you won't be sorry.

These thread size boards are AWESOME! They are built from thick, sturdy aluminum with a blue anodized & etched size chart. They cover a wide range of SAE and Metric thread sizes so you don’t have to guess anymore. I would say they are exactly like the ones hanging in the hardware aisle at the big box home stores, but now you can have them in your own shop, garage or toolbox! I really believe they will pay for themselves quickly by preventing the hassle of trial and error from your own nut & bolt stash and trips to the hardware store to size up exactly what diameter and thread pitch you need. Especially useful for people like me who grew up before metric sizes became common in the US and struggl to identify them. Maybe that goes the opposite direction for younger folks who don’t know their 3/8-16 from their 3/8-24! All I know is, they are great to have around!

These gauges are well-made and easy to read. They are made of an anodized 6061 aluminum alloy laser engraved face, with a 304 stainless steel core. They are rust and corrosive-resistant with holes to either mount directly to a post next to your bolt bins, hang on a peg, or what I did was mount them to magnets and hang them on the side of my toolboxes.
