Well made, looks very durable. I use it to quickly check treads, both metric and imperial. As also both a scale in inch and centimeters for bolt length measurement.

It’s so hard to tell from a few photos, so my expectations were low, but the quality of this thread checker is really good. The weight is substantial and you can tell by the feel that it’s a well-made piece. Thick aluminum plate, everything is labeled well and clearly, and the stainless bolts are obviously not cheap crap. Five star quality at a very good price.

Not having to run to and from a hardware store to figure out what my bolt size and thread pitches, is awesome.I've probably used this thing 60 times at least since I purchased it. Redoing some parts on a 94 miata, I was able to easily determine what size some of the older bolts were to replace them with brand new ones. As well as finding both sizes for a network rackIt's insanely easy to use and well worth the money. It's also incredibly sturdy and nice quality considering it's machined out of aluminum.

Being just a hobbyist, I haven’t purchased a thread checker. When I saw this Auprex Thread Checker show up in my Vine items, had to try it.You have to take the bolt or nut to the checker. Makes it impossible to check threads on things that can’t be removed from a vehicle or tractor. There are kits where you can take the checker to the threads needing checked, small individual pieces.This plate is made of soft material, if I was going to be using it daily, I would chose something more robust.Still, good useful tool for a hobbyist. Priced about where I see other ones like this.

blue sizing template With both inches and metric, handy size and Valuable Tool to have... we see the ones at the hardware stores and wonder "how can I get one of those?" Well here is the answer, saves me so much time and hassle
