I liked this light at first, the brightness was perfect for my new jumping spider, but the adhesive only works for a very short and the light falls. I give it one star because after leaving it on for 8 hours for my enclosure it starting overheating and was definitely hot enough to catch fire.

Really Love the concept of this lamp/light. Cord way to short, if it's 3 feet? Should be at Least 5' attachment? Not wide enough, could never fit on Terrarium edge, they have protective edging. It does have sticky tape supplied, but like I said, cord to short and not trusting sticky tape.

Works great, especially for the one gallon jar I keep my Betta in. He seems much more active under this light than the old one and I haven't had any overheating issues.

takes a second for the button to register that a finger is on it also i like the different colors of the lights i just with their was a brighter setting its quite dim but i would get a second one to fix this tho it does serve its purpose

I bought this light for the duel mounting features. I have a cover over my tank, so I knew I'd have to rely on the sticky tape to hold up the light. Unfortunately, the light is too top heavy to be supported by the tape alone. I had to use duct tape to hold it in place. Not the prettiest solution, but it's holding. Even if I were to remove the tank cover, the light clamp isn't wide enough to clamp over the tank.
