This was great. The cup fits the canteen it's self and the cap works great it's just the cover that doesn't fit. It covers it up...Along with the cap. So it is hard to dig it out and unscrew the cap. But other than that it's great.

The 1943 canteen with metal cup and canvas cover looks just what you would have been issued for the Pacific conflict. It's perfect.

If you're into serious reenacting this is not for you. If you're using this for airsoft or a budget costume then go for it. The canteen proportions seem out of whack and the cup just screams Chinese knockoff.

The canteen is amazing! The cover really doesn’t fit well. I went to a surplus store and found an original cover that fit amazingly. So you’re really just buying the canteen. They should ship it without the poorly made cover.
