It works great for my Xrocker Gaming Chair. It helped me modify my PS chair into a PC gaming chair.

This was perfect! Worth every penny. My new office chair did not elevate to a level that allowed me to be comfortable at my desk. This extender was not at all that hard to install. It elevated the chair almost to the height of a barbershop chair. Even though I don't need that, I love the extra....as it allows me to not have to make provisions for my comfort. Also, I'm not at all a small woman. So it definitely has sustainability under weight. I doubt I'll ever have another office chair where I don't have this installed.

It took longer to remove from the package than it did to install. Fit perfectly and immediately worked great. No issues and now my favorite office chair is back up and running

Totally worked, but was a bit confusing as the Costco Bayside mesh office chair has a cylinder housing built into the base. You WILL need a pipe wrench to repair the chair.- Instead of using the entire product, you're just going to remove the silver colored cylinder from the black metal housing the new cylinder comes in. Careful with the metal tab, washer and bushing! Don't lose it! There are YouTube videos on removing this clip from office chairs and sliding it back on.- First remove the clip on the bottom of the Bayside chair base.- Slide the base off of the old cylinder (suggest you do this outside- mine was leaking black fluid all over the place!). The old bushing, clip, and washer will fall off- you can discard (or save if you want) these but you won't need them as the new cylinder comes with new ones already on the cylinder.- Use a pipe wrench to twist the former cylinder out of the main part of the chair (youtube videos on this out there as well). It requires some effort- doesn't matter which direction- it's not screwed in, just tight.- Clean up the chair now if fluid is everywhere!- Rest is the reverse of what you just did, but inserting the new silver cylinder into the chair base, then securing it with the washer and clip (included with the new cylinder).- Remove the red protective cap on the new cylinder- Put the main part of the chair on top of the cylinder which is now already attached to the base.- Push down on it, sit on it and you should be good to go!Hope this helps. It's pretty simple but the main issue to think around is the base of this chair having the black cylinder housing built into it. Other than that, easy repair. Hope this helps!

Our air lift broke on our expensive game chair. I looked into just replacing the lift chamber and found this one as a replacement because of the weight it can hold. When it arrived I opened it up, took the red cap off the top, and slipped it right in where the old one was.Got everything back together and it has been working great!Saved me so much money replacing this instead of buying a whole new chair.

Es un buen cilindro, ha cumplido con mis expectativas y llega más alto que el que tenía mi silla originalmente, además se ve de mejor calidad.El precio es excelente y aunque espero que no se estropee pronto, sin duda volvería a comprar el mismo.

A perfect replacement for an office chair cylinder that was too short. This cylinder gives a wide range of height and has turned my home office space into a more ergonomic environment. Installation is easy once the old cylinder is removed. WD40 (or similar spray lubricant) plus a pipe wrench or vice grip was key for getting the old cylinder off. Here’s how I went about removing the old cylinder:1. Lubricate both ends of the cylinder attached to the chair (that’s the base attached to the wheel spokes and the top attached to the chair’s lifting/lowering mechanism).2. Put the chair sideways on the ground, or on a protected work surface.3. Tighten a pipe wrench or vice grip around the top of the cylinder, as close to the chair as you can. Leverage the wrench downwards to twist the cylinder around. This took some elbow grease for me, but I was eventually able to twist the cylinder in one direction enough for it to come loose and come out.4. Now you have just the old cylinder attached to the wheel spokes. Give the cylinder a few sharp taps from underneath the wheel spokes with a hammer or rubber mallet. It should pop out eventually.5. Drop the new cylinder into the wheels and place the chair on top of the cylinder. Done! This cylinder is an inexpensive option to change the height of an existing office chair!
