First things first, a G&L Skyhawk has a completely different pick guard than the one pictured here. I ordered this for a G&L Legacy, under the assumption that it had been erroneously mistitled. The first issue I noticed off the bat was that the neck pocket was cut too small. Not a big deal, I figured I could sand it down. After that, I realized not only that the screw holes didn’t line up, but that the shape of the pickguard was off towards the horn, so far that the screw hole was about an inch off from where it needs to be screwed in. Furthermore, it doesn’t fully cover the entirety of the control cavity.
