Installed on my 2004? MIM Jazz bass without any problems. Been playing live with this upgrade for about 9 months (finger style). FYI, bass color is blue agave.

i had an old Mexican J-Bass that sat in my dads basement for 15 years...I completely forgot about it. Anyway, found it and wanted to fix it up so I bought some things I wanted/needed including this pickguard. i was very pleased with the quality except when I put it on the bass....the pickup hole was cutout too small. I had to go and file down one side of the pickup hole a good bit to get it to fit. Now the one side is rough and noticable...I would say not to risk this unless you know for sure you can make it fit.note: all of the screw holes lined up perfect, just the pickup hole was off.
